We
spend as much time selecting Brood Jennets as we do selecting Jacks. We look for Jennets
that are excellent individuals and possess characteristics which will cross well with our
exceptional Jacks. Our breeding program is planned years in advance as immature stock is
purchased and some of our own foals are retained for breeding to our various Jacks. In some
cases, we have several generations of donkeys on our farm. |

32.5"
Dark Gray/White Spotted Jennet DOB 6/10/93 Sire:
Fisher's Tiny Gideon, 32" Gray/White Spot Dam: Fisher's Tiny Julietta, 31.75"
Dark Gray Justine was the first spotted jennet we
added to our herd. We looked for several years before we found her. She has everything we
were searching for, nice rounded rump, smooth over her croup, good legs, front and back
and a beautiful head a on 32.5 inch jennet. Justine's foals have surpassed our expectations.
Her 2002 jennet foal, "Best
Kept Secret", is the 2004 Acosa National Reserve Champion
Jennet. She crosses well with our black jack, Motown's
Secret. One of these days when I can clean the North Carolina
red dirt off of her pretty white spots I will get up a full body shot! Justine has been
bred to Cedar
Creek Farm's outstanding 31.5" jack, LN
Foxbow, for a May 22nd, 2008 foal. Update 5/19/08 @ 10pm. Justine has white milk.

Through the winter she looked very dark brown and white, boy, were we surprised when we
clipped her in the spring and found that she was black and white. She has grown into a very
stocky gal with nice conformation. When shown she has always been in the ribbons. She is
being bred to Secret for a late fall 2005 foal. Visit our 'Show
Results' page to see more photos of Bo Peep being shown
as a weanling! She is bred to Itsy
Bitsy Burro Co. Majestic for a March 19th, 2007, foaling date. Bo Peep's first
foal was a true black jennet with no light points, Secret
Charm! Click
